MUSEU  FESTER

The Museu Fester (a festive museum), located within the premises of the castle, in the first room, alongside the cistern, shows a sample of each comparsa official costumes.

In the tower, a series of boards explain and guide you in your tour through the festival of Moors and Christians.

On the ground floor you are shown the distribution of the whole tower, a little bit of history of the castle and the history of the festival of Moors and Christians in the town. On the upper floor, the boards explain the various events which are carried out during the four days of this festivity and on the top floor they explain features of the feast such as the program of the festival, its poster, the festival of Saint George’s relic, Saint George’s association, as well as the music, which plays an essential role in this celebration.
