Banyeres de Mariola is the highest town in the interior of the province of Alicante, located within the region of L’Alcoià.

We are located in the foothills of the Sierra de Mariola Natural Park, known for its variety of aromatic and medicinal herbs, as well as its numerous sources. The natural environment that surrounds us allows visitors to take different routes and learn more about all the abundant landscape of this area.

In addition, our heritage is very rich and varied. We have a remarkable industrial tradition, and as you can see in the different museums there are several industries that have had a great impact on the growth of the population. Already in the 18th century, the botanist Cavanilles passing through the township said: ‘...none of the reign gives up pursuant to work.’"
